Today, we bring you an episode unlike any other that we have recorded in the past 7 years. Clark Fredericks is a survivor of horrific childhood sexual abuse at the hands of his former Scoutmaster, Dennis Pegg. After years of drug and alcohol abuse, living with the weight of his molestation, and spinning out of control, Clark ran into his abuser, and went on to murder him later that day. Clark was sentenced to prison, but was released only 5 years later with massive support from not only the enitre community, but from people all over the world as his story made national headlines. Clark has gone on to become a motivational speaker, has helped changed the statute of limitiation for victims, and continues to help victims all over. Clark' story is filled with tragedy, but also filled with light, meaning, and overcoming. We are very glad to have done this interview. Check it out!

Diego Garijo is an artist, he’s a fighter, he’s a drag queen, and he’s got a fascinating story to talk about this week with us. We dive into his amazing story from being smuggled over into the states, to a rough life that saw him learn to fight, the struggles after an injury made him stop, getting back into bare knuckle brawling, and how a class he took led to him performing as Lola Pistola. We talk the science of the procedure, the benefits of spider silk, the future of their work, and what is like to work on a spider goat farm. It was quite an interesting science conversation.

We are joined by craft beer pioneer, Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head Brewing. Sam is a laid back, intelligent, funny, and real. We talk all thing Dogfish, staying creative, the craft beer world, and new happenings at the brewery, all while enjoying Dogfish's latest release, Hazy-O. Look out for Dogfish's new craft canned cocktails, a new book from Sam about the Dogfish Inn, and of course, more delcious craft beer. This interview was well worth the wait, and we are beyond thrilled to get a chance to chop it up with Sam.

Matt shares his stories of what led him to explore there, the culture and etiquette in speaking with people who live in these communities, and the work done to help people get out of the environment with his program Shine a Light. His new sequel book called Dark Days, Bright Nights: Surviving the Las Vegas Storm Drains is out now.
